Warsanis 1401FM UPGRADE to 1401FM-M2

Upgrade FAQ
What is a M2 upgrade?
M2 is a replacement of the processor/filter board of the 1401FM processor. This upgrade will provide the following enhancements and new features:
- Completely new design of the 15 kHz low pass filter
- New phase symmetry, constant delay and overshoot compensator
- The output gain of processor BAND1 and BAND4 can be adjusted
- New Loudness Clipping Module
- Multiband Clipping can be disabled
- Several improvements to the audio processors
Upgrading your 1401FM will result in a higher loudness and better peak control. Because the Loudness Clipper Module produces low distortion you can use more Clipping than with the 1401FM. In competitive markets the Multiband Clipping can be disabled. The Loudness Clipping Module will take care of the peak control.
Why upgrade?
The 1401FM-M2 can produce cleaner audio with low distortion. The peak control is improved and it is possible to adjust the gain of BAND1 (low) and BAND4 (high).
